The role of Senior Ministries

To inspire our seniors in recognizing their worth to God, sharing their gifts with their families, their community, and church. Our desire is to inspire them to be joyful, thankful, fruitful and productive for the kingdom, becoming active senior adults, living joyful, and confident lives.

“Older people are a wonderful resource for their families, communities and in the formal or informal workforce. They are a repository of knowledge. They can help us avoid making the same mistakes again. The societies that adapt to this changing
demographic can reap a sizeable “longevity dividend”, and will have a competitive advantage over those that don’t.”
World Health Organization, “About aging and Life-course”

“I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread”
Psalms 37:25
