Adventist Community Service: Disaster Preparedness Weekend

Over the weekend 56 volunteers across our conference joined together for an intense weekend of disaster preparedness training.  Derek Lea, the North American Division Community Service Director, led the weekend with Disaster Assessment and Sheltering Training.  The weekend concluded with clear directives, motivation, and 5 elected disaster response coordinators.   We are very thankful to our team that made this event possible and look forward to our ACS retreat on Oct 20-22, 2023.
